Day in the Life

Your everyday is beautiful. Documentary family photography is, at its heart, about storytelling. It's not about showing how it looks, but showing how it feels. It's about noticing the uniqueness of your subjects and their environment and finding visual ways to bring that uniqueness to center stage. I am always looking for subtle gestures of affection, personality, and humor in the photos I make. You are my client, but I like to think my real audience is your children in 20 years - they will want to look back and feel the relationship you shared at each stage of life, and that relationship is written in moments and gestures that so often go uncelebrated.
